comment on ‘real time’: janice min says weinstein frenzy fueled partly by trump anger by anonymous

weird harvey's demise... king of hollywood, untouchable.. happens right after the las vegas ordeal and now his story dominates the headlines and vegas is a forgotten memory...

lol - sex crime?! two consenting adults giving a bj is now a sex crime?

comment on ‘real time’: janice min says weinstein frenzy fueled partly by trump anger by carac100

weinstein seems to have a 30-year history of raping and sexually assaulting women, so let's equate that with trump's bawdy jokes on a bus? trump's comments were crude, not criminal. millions of americans, including women, have shared bawdier banter with their friends. his accusers appeared out of nowhere at a critical point in his campaign, making them look like political operatives. that impression only increased as we learned about their ties to democrats and heard from eyewitnesses that their stories were false. they disappeared when trump threatened to sue them for defamation even though there are plenty of dem lawyers who would love to have represented them pro bono if they thought it could hurt trump. it seems to have been an alinsky-inspired attack: "accuse the other guy of what you're doing." we know weinstein isn't a lone predator in hollywood. we want the rapists and pedophiles hollywood has been protecting all these years named and brought to justice.

comment on ‘real time’: janice min says weinstein frenzy fueled partly by trump anger by hillary would have protected harvey

all of you are missing the point. if hillary had won then the ny times article would never have been written. the new yorker article would never have been written. hillary would have shut them down with two phone calls. she would have buried this news to protect harvey her number one money bundler. the only reason harvey was exposed is because hillary lost. harvey was sacrificed with the hope that this could somehow ricochet and injure trump. that's the supreme irony of all this. there is no way in hell jodi kantor & megan twohey and ronan farrow would have written their excellent articles if hillary were president right now. they would have written more articles about how trump harassed and groped women. that would have been an ongoing story with more women suing him with gloria allred as their lawyer. she would have filed a dozen suits the week after the election if trump had lost. that's the reality of what's happening now. they can't hurt trump so they are taking their anger out on harvey but president hillary would have stopped the harvey news cold. no way he would have been exposed he'd still be the powerful guy he was two weeks ago before this news broke.

comment on ‘real time’: janice min says weinstein frenzy fueled partly by trump anger by jedijones77

it's more like the disgust with bill clinton's behavior and a desire to not go back to that scandal sheet era of the white house is what made everyone take it out on hillary.

comment on ‘real time’: janice min says weinstein frenzy fueled partly by trump anger by jedijones77

it's utterly sickening that she's still covering for weinstein. if they had this off-the-record quote from trump, she would be blaring it across headlines nationwide. every private conversation he has is gleefully published by the press as soon as they get their hands on it.

tv is crap. infinite channels filled with repetitive, boring, stale content.

theaters are not over. they're bigger, better and more beautiful than ever. hopefully every director fights the idea of same-day streaming so that their movies can be seen in the top quality they were intended to be seen in. no need to cater to the sheltered shut-ins.

comment on ‘real time’: janice min says weinstein frenzy fueled partly by trump anger by eddie mcq

yeah, that "nasty, dark underbelly" reared it's head during the time of president clinton and those pizza deliveries of monica. funny, you don't bring any of those "good times" up. oh wait, that's different. dear god, i just gave myself a brain scan from rolling my eyes...

comment on ‘real time’: janice min says weinstein frenzy fueled partly by trump anger by lance

remember, before trump was the president, he was a powerful celebrity and business man. in the access hollywood p.. grabbing tape, he said when you're famous they'll let you do it. before he was president, he bragged on the howard stern show about being able to walk into teenage girl pageant contestants dressing rooms while they're getting dressed because he's the pageant owner. so i wouldn't say she's blaming trump so much as saying he was part of the problem. i think hearing him brag about it is what made it worse.

comment on ‘real time’: janice min says weinstein frenzy fueled partly by trump anger by robin

yeah? wait till it shows upais infecting the rest of the country. harvey weinstein is the systemic to our society, as is herr harrumpfh. there is a nasty, dark underbelly to this country that is coming out as abuse of women, and soon to be 'spotlight'ed as abuse of children. by all sorts of political 'persuasions.'

comment on ‘magnum p.i.’ reboot in the works at cbs by montalv

as if magnum pi was so original? and by the way - if you think they're "idiots," why do you spend time reading articles about the entertainment industry? smh.

comment on ‘real time’: janice min says weinstein frenzy fueled partly by trump anger by anonymous

yeah, try to tie it to trump based on a comment... but conveniently forget that there was an actual sex crime committed in the oval office by bill clinton. perhaps everyone is going after harvey weinstein because he is a core element in the holier-than-thou leftwing/hollywood establishment that everyone in this country is sick of. and everyone loves a good fall from grace story. especially when it's a villain everybody hates.

comment on white house stands by john kelly’s “empty barrel” crack about florida congresswoman frederica wilson by tim obrien

i love her. she says it like it is. and she doesn't give these media bullies an inch.

comment on ‘real time’: janice min says weinstein frenzy fueled partly by trump anger by bv

your assertion could so easily be turned around, ms. min, by arguing that the trump presidency strengthened the resolve of the women assaulted by weinstein to speak out now that sycophant obama is not in office and greedy clinton was defeated. do not divert these sickening revelations. stay focused. what is wrong with you?

comment on white house stands by john kelly’s “empty barrel” crack about florida congresswoman frederica wilson by timothymobrien1

she in fact stands by the facts and by principal. these media people in that briefing room have become a bunch of middle-school-level bullies with nothing but silly criticism.

comment on ‘thursday night football’ ratings down as raiders score close win over chiefs by cabrio

well, yeah - if your waitress takes a knee for equal pay for her entire shift and it effects her ability to do her job, sure. but if she kneels for 2 minutes silently at the beginning of the day before her shift begins - you'd still leave? that's basically what the players are doing. logic is fun. oh well.

comment on ‘boo 2! a madea halloween’ reaps $22m during october dumping ground at the b.o. by don’t mind me now

it’s doubtful the snowman was ever going to be a hit (especially in the hacked-to-ribbons-by-studio-editors state it was ultimately released in) but the studio sure picked a piss-poor time to release it. want a horror movie? there’s happy death day. want a gritty thriller? there’s the foreigner. want something by an acclaimed director with good-looking cinematography? there’s blade runner 2049. want gore? jigsaw comes out next week. essentially, there’s absolutely no demographic the snowman is targeting that doesn’t have a better (or at least more attractive) alternative they can watch. brilliant.

the original was also considered a box-office failure back at the time.
