what is wrong with you, hollywood? why are you obsessed with pushing out these agendas to try divide everyone up & make everybody feel hated & feel like a victim. somedays there's a lot pushed out about about the latinos, some days it's the jewish, some days it's africans, some days it's the irish, somedays asians, somedays a combination. what in the world?? but to the lena dunham types reading this & freaking out as if there really is a conspiracy against asians... first off, landing parts is hard for literally everybody! but the reason there are more caucasian looking people on screen than east-asian, etc. is because it's caucasian people who constitute the majority of our country. whether they are part caucasian or full. whether they moved here from england, or lebanon, or germany, or algeria, or colombia, or spain. if 10,000 caucasian girls are going for a part versus 100 east-asian looking girls, there's just a higher probability the part will be landed by a caucasian girl. that's just basic, emotionless, statistics. get over it. (also, just to point it out. regardless of whoever got selected, almost 10k caucasian girls got rejected when only a few asian girls did - since there weren't many to begin with.) second of all, caucasians originate from asia too. if you insecure idiots in this country who are always acting like victims for yourselves as well as on behalf of others (and always yapping on about ethnicities!) ever bothered to look at a map you'd realize the caucuses are in western asia (aka: modern day georgia). and you'd also realize many asian countries are full of 'white' people. and if you ever bothered to read the histories of these countries or just merely google photos, you'd realize just like in america, a lot of these asian countries are majority-wise full of 'white people.' and the same goes for the india. which is full of caucasians (e.g. aishwariya rai, rakhee gulzar, etc). in fact, in bollywood movies some of those girls you're thinking are indian are sometimes english-descent girls like me, etc. but ethnicities relate to post-1700s-french-revolution type nations defined by borders, not to looks. and so if you're going to cry about peoples ethnicities, at least try getting your freaking terminologies right & knowing a little about the history of the world! because in regards to asians on screen, unless they look very east-asian (e.g. china, japan, etc) and/or aboriginal indians (aka: native americans of india who are the same people as the original pacific islanders), or unless they jump out of the tv screen to tell you, you idiots who are so obsessed with ethnicities don't even have way to even know if someone you're looking at is of asian descent or not! what is wrong with you, hollywood? why are you obsessed with pushing out these agendas to try divide everyone up & make everybody feel hated & feel like a victim. somedays there's a lot pushed out about about the latinos, some days it's the jewish, some days it's africans, some days it's the irish, somedays asians, somedays a combination. what in the world?? but to the lena dunham types reading this & freaking out as if there really is a conspiracy against asians... first off, landing parts is hard for literally everybody! but the reason there are more caucasian looking people on screen than east-asian, etc. is because it's caucasian people who constitute the majority of our country. whether they are part caucasian or full. whether they moved here from england, or lebanon, or germany, or algeria, or colombia, or spain. if 10,000 caucasian girls are going for a part versus 100 east-asian looking girls, there's just a higher probability the part will be landed by a caucasian girl. that's just basic, emotionless, statistics. get over it. (also, for the record, you guys realize sony is a studio literally from asia?) that said i only wrote this all above to point out how stupid you people who are always talking about such things are. you people talk about ethnicities all day without knowing the first thing about what most people should know just from taking basic high school world history. no wonder you all are so easily manipulated and made to feel hated. but the reality is that your race/ethnicity literally doesn't matter to anyone. we are all the same people made by god. and whatever you are is great. these things are simply just trivial details which relate to cool history of our world & how it became what it is today. so stop believing everybody hates you for whatever you are, look around at the world in real-life, take a stats class (or even a first grade level math glass in which you learn about probability), and then just use your brains!
