comment on netflix keeps buying great movies, so it’s a shame they’re getting bu

i watched 'i don't feel at home in this world anymore' and have been planning to check out 'tramps' after coming across both on netflix. i never would have known about these titles otherwise. and netflix managed to put them prominently enough in front of me, someone who would appreciate them. as a film maker, i'd certainly appreciate that.

universal studios adds american horror story: roanoke for halloween

it’s a blood moon over hollywood! one year after introducing the american horror story franchise into the fold of its annual halloween horror nights event, universal studios hollywood has added another season of the popular tv series to its roster. roanoke, the sixth season of ryan murphy’s horror anthology, will haunt this year’s horror nights event in an all-new maze that begins its run on sept. 15. like the acclaimed season of the show did, the maze will follow the twisted backwoods path of the lost north carolinian colony and the victims who find themselves haunted by ghosts who tread the land. spooky guests inside the maze include the cannibal polk family, kathy bates’ iconic butcher, and presumably all those other fun colonial spirits and victims who call the horrifying woods of roan

comment on netflix’s ‘3%’ gets renewed for season 2 — see how the cast reacted b

yeah, so i watched half of the season reading subtitles, but then had to stop because i was always to tired to read after work. then i recently returned to it and restarted from the beginning since i really enjoyed what i saw before, only to discover that an american dub was added to show. it worked out really nicely too. this show highlights an exhilarating and uniquely diverse cast with incredibly acting abilities. i enjoyed every minute of it, the only thing that was missing was more episodes as the show was far too interesting to be cut so short. now, don't get me wrong, i'm in the independent film making business as well, so i totally understand budget crisis and funding. therefore, all i was praying for was that netflix gave them a second chance with the proper funding they

the 10 greatest ‘castlevania’ games of all time!

when it comes to horror-themed video games, few are as revered as konami’s classic castlevania franchise. while the series has had its fair share of missteps (anybody remember castlevania 64 or castlevania: legends on the game boy?), by and large the bulk of the monster-slayin’ titles have been pretty good-to-downright fantastic. since dozens upon dozens […]

9 movies you should watch on netflix this weekend before they expire

some months, it feels like there is more quality content leaving netflix than being added to the streaming service. march is not one of those months. while putting together this list of 10 movies expiring next month worth watching, i found myself struggling to find five that actually deserved to be on the list. so i did some research and managed to get to nine movies before i had to give up and call it a day. while this is a somewhat disappointing development for this post, it's great news for netflix subscribers. tons of great licensed content and original series are hitting the service in march, while hardly any worthwhile movies are being removed. let's hope this is the start of a new trend and not an anomaly. our picks for the ten nine best movies that will no longer be available for

prepare yourself for an american horror story binge, because netflix just added

while you might already be obsessing over american horror story: cult, there's a lingering question about season six that still has yet to be answered: when is american horror story: roanoke coming to netflix? well, we have some good news and some potentially bad news. season six might not have been the best season from the horror anthology, but for anyone who doesn't have a cable subscription, it's probably felt like it's been quite some time since fresh ahs episodes have arrived on the streaming network. for a while, netflix only had the first five seasons of the show - murder house, asylum, coven, freak show, and hotel - with no roanoke in sight. while previous seasons have typically been added a few months after they air on fx, it looked like season six was long forgotten . . . until
